Of course, we didn't spend all day learning... we had some fun too! Our Denton Rockstars hit the town and completed a scavenger hunt in the community! All had a little healthy competition and fun!
Today, our entire staff came together for some back-to-school professional development! Learning happens everywhere at Denton Elementary!

Hello! My name is Grace Wetzel. I am originally from Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State (We Are!). I now live in Delaware with my fiance, Sam, and our dog, Daisy. In my free time, I love to read, paint, journal, and go to the beach. I am so excited to be a part of the team at Denton Elementary and look forward to a great school year!
We want to introduce our newest Dolphins to our school community! Hi everyone, my name is Tiana Dobson! I am a first-year 3rd-grade special education teacher. I recently graduated from Stevenson University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am Caroline County, born and raised. My love for teaching has always been in me as I used to play teacher with my family members! In my free time, I love to watch true crime and the same TV shows over and over (i.e., Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, and The Walking Dead), spend time with my family, and try new restaurants. I'm so excited for this school year and I look forward to creating memories with DES!

Hi! I am Caitlyn Vance, starting my 8th year of teaching. I am so excited to be a part of the DES family! I love spending time with my three kiddos and family! We will always be on the go boating, going to the beach, spending time outdoors, and going on adventures!
I look forward to getting to know all my students and creating unforgettable memories!
